With such a learned group I am interested on your views of 2012.
What is your current belief?
Are you acting accordingly?

2012 is Undeniable. We have to take into account the Precession of the Equinoxes. On a Celestial level our Sun is moving into the center of the Milky Way Galaxy, and we on Earth are moving into the age of Aquarius. The beginning of the much awaited Dwapara Yuga! 2012 will bring insurmountable amounts of Earthly and Spiritual changes for all. I like your 3rd question. How many of us on Earth could say we are acting accordingly. We that do know what is going to happen SHOULD be held accountable. I can say that I am not doing everything that I could/should be. I do have an intense desire to change this though. The books 'The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life' explore the fact that when these Celestial events occour, the electro-magnetic grids of energy that suround the Earth will collapse for a short period of time. These Grids of Energy are some of the essential keys to us functioning in our daily lives. If our vibrational rates are not at a high enough level, 2012 could be an incredibly difficult experience. Change can be hard for many to grasp, especially at such a rapid and abundant rate in such a short period of time. This will be such an amazing time for our Earth's inevitable evolution.

Tell me a little about the Dwapara Yuga, why is it much awaited. It sounds like it is a better age, as the Aquarian Age is supposed to be. BUT before we get there, we got to hell and back???

I agree with you about rising ones vibration. How do you suggest we go about that? I have an amzing book called the Hathor Material by Tom Kenyon that gives some techniques, but essentially it comes down to living in a state of "love".

The Dwapara Yuga is the second of 4 phases of our evolution according to the Yogis. They say that we go through cylclical periods of evolution. While being in the Kali Yuga for a long period of time. The Kali Yuga being the lowest Phase in spiritual dovelopement {The dark ages}. The Dwapara is the second phase followed by the Treta Yuga then culminating into the Satya Yuga {The Golden Age}. In terms of the Dwapara being a better cycle: YES! Usually the more spiritually advanced we are the better we treat eachother. I think going to hell and back is a matter of perception. We are in somewhat Hell now...lol. With probably more hell to come. I think most people would agree we are in tense times. It seems that the collective emotions of our planet are escalating more and more each day. As far as raising our vibrational rates, one method I know of is a meditational technique called the Mer-Ka-Ba. This was extrapulated from the ancient Egyptians and is based upon Sacred Geometry. I encourage you to Google it. There is guidebooks to this meditation called 'The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life'. And yes always living with love in everything you do is a great way to start!

Not to start pasting quotes from books all over the place, but I found this highly interesting personally, as some sort of a "revelation". I missed it the first time, but the 2nd reading of the book brought that "lighbulb effect" :)

The Mayan calendar thing. Could be that they figured that they had ciphered it out far enough at the time and would add to it later as needed, or, comet strike, or the time zero thing which I kind of forgot what it is now but if Chance was here he would tell me. What ever it is it won't be too long before we find out whether it is going to be a problem or a Y2K buggaboo which was sort of similar. I have a crate of water under the bed and a weeks worth of canned beef stew... after that I may wish for a quick end anyway. Or, they dig up that chamber under the Sphinx paw and find a space ship and they try to fly it and it goes haywire and they jump to another galaxy and alert a race of superior Nanny Beings who then come here and spank us all for being so self centered and put us in an "earth crib" until we stop being so despicable to each other. I may be being flippant here but everything I said is possible and I'll try not to believe that it is since that could just encourage one of those scenarios.

Hiya Vanese,
Yes I've heard a couple of things about Planet X. I've heard that it is going to swing by us in a close orbit and make the earth flip on it's axis and/or cause giant tides and earthquakes and that may be bad depending where you are at the time. Another far out thing I heard was that is where the Reptilians live and they are going to have there way with us when they get close enough... kind of like pirates throwing out the boarding hooks and swinging in to take over our earthship. There's a lot of problems with that on for me though. Also if Planet X were out there looming and it is supposed to be heading this way in 2012 then it's only 4 years out and I think we would be starting to see some sign of it and I have not heard anyone sounding the alert yet.

Someone told me that the news put the kybosh on talking about it in the 80's when they realized there was NOTHING that could be done....My brother just sent me an article however... I will see if I can find it.

The Maya did not come up with the 2012 item, it was the Olmec at Izapa .. You can find this if you Google about a bit. Izapa is well researched now. It is an amazing place where the ideology of all the South American Peoples was re-made.

They believed that 7 Macaw was the center of the universe, and that he was (promoting the Polar Stars as) the center ??(the Egyptian Imperishable Ones??). When he was seen to not be the center, he was darted out of the Hulupa Tree (immortality) for his lying.

When the Olmec came below the Equator they quickly found out that the Center of the Galaxy was not the Pole, but elsewhere!!
Izapa was then designed to find the center; and after Galactic Center (what we pass at the end/beginning of an Age) was determined with great accuracy (back really far .. I suppose to make certain it lined up with their old records of things) ... it was determined for one cycle forward, too. That is where "we" get 2012 from.

We are passing right through the little or no forces zones now (passing the central bulge exactly in 2012), and then the forces will in many instances reverse (what causes pole flips?) .. and when we reach a certain spot (like the Tropic of Capricorn on Earth) the Oort cloud ""may"" become perturbed, and send Xx asteroids our way .. this is still very hypothetical at this point, however. The thing I just cannot quite get over is that we are powering up the biggest science project in know history to find the "G^d Particle" right at the same time that we have the least interference from the forces of the core of the Galaxy. What kind of odds are there that this is "just chance"??

The Water I would keep extra of, just in case, and rotate it, those clear bottles are not so good for you. We are saving grains and beans, peas, etc, but I think it should have been 5 gallon cans of gasoline!

The Maya Calendar thing: .. The date is the birthday of 1 Hunahpu, the great creator god of the Maya, who was saved by the Hero Twins! He gets born in one form every year, and in another form at the ends of certain cycles, but this cycle is a Precession Cycle, so this is a big birth!

The Ecliptic of the Solar System will be in conjunction with the center of the Galaxy, the still point in the heavens, the Xibalba be (where lives the skull in the tree which speaks; and spits into maiden's hands --in Maya it was Blood Moon), and the black hole (Mayan has a word for black hole) where all creation comes forth from.

They do warn about a type of demon:
The 2012 monsters they warn about look like: Claw footed 3 toed, lobster-esque claw thumb and first finger --3 fingered, skull faces, with hats having lots of lollipops around the top (tulips with square flags on the sides of the stems), and a snake hanging down as a double tail between the skinny, eye bedecked legs -- like the middle of the snake is belted to the waist. They have eyes on their joints, and are trans-dimensional.

Hi Vanese,

Have gotten through one book and am currently finishing up Maya Cosmogenesis 2012 by John Major Jenkins, which is a well reasoned and deeply researched work. Between the two I have garnered the following:

Per the Maya, there are vibratory natures to the evolution of the Universe, and Earth is no exception. The Maya followed these with their sacred number systems --and they marked the point where our sun is mapped to the center of our Galaxy as this 2012 date. (Based on their being the people of the Maize --that number 20 comes up lots however, with Hebrew, DNA+stop+start, etc. --and the 13 ..(Original Clan Mothers, Crystal Skulls, etc);
(The pole stars are not the "Duat" of the Maya) ... the fall of Seven Macaw (by the Hero Twins) was the discovery that the pole region was not "The Center"!!! And it took them a great while to find it! (Did you know you can see the star at mid day from the bottom of a deep well?)

They posit a type of stepped pyramid interpretation to this evolutionary phased growth of Man and the Universe. (Why they are so popular in South America?)
It seems that one step is a dawning day and the next a night when all the novel and innovated works out over the vastness in preparation for the next day. Differing time frames are intra-correlated.

In this ongoing perspective, the new age (Aquarius) is a Main Resonance Day on THE last level of development of the outgoing age {pinnacle} (very nice calculations!). Thus it makes perfect sense that all previous wisdom will be available in the light of this day's age, and most if not all will be brought up and reconciled for the movement into the new levels of development to come (mental resonances combine, compile).

This is rather simplistic as there are huge correlations done with the counting figures and ages the Maya use (The Nineveh Constant has not turned up yet - though I know it to be there somewhere.). This is just a very basic synopsis of the work I have read so far. ... I will let you know if Calleman is the main source; which I suspect is the case.

On another level all this will translate (per Carl Johann Calleman and Barbara Hand Clow) to a time of resetting of sorts of our Earth with the resonance of the Galactic center (the wisdom reset, I have little doubt of).
I have yet to look into the work of Calleman, but her skimming was interesting, and his web site is here:

I wonder if we should take this image over to Scott Creighton, -- as the "perpendicular" cross of the middle double undulation is not unlike the dipping of the belt stars of Orion when they fall below the ecliptic on that one particular day!! His concept just became glaringly obvious as I looked at this image again! ... One just has to wonder! ..
